On the first day of building our application, I kicked off the project by creating the marketing page and setting up authentication using Clerk Auth.

Marketing Page Development:

I started by designing the marketing page, the face of our application. This is where our users will get their first glimpse of what we're offering. It's crucial to make a great first impression.

Here's a quick summary of what I accomplished on the marketing page:

  • Design Layout: I selected a clean and engaging layout that resonates with our brand and appeals to our target audience.

  • Content Creation: I crafted compelling content to describe our application's benefits, features, and how it solves user problems.

  • Responsiveness: Ensured that the marketing page looked great on various screen sizes to provide an excellent user experience.

Clerk Auth Integration:

Authentication is a vital aspect of our application. I chose Clerk Auth to handle user registration and login. Here's what I achieved in terms of authentication:

  • Clerk Auth Setup: I signed up for Clerk Auth and configured it to work with our application. Clerk Auth offers an intuitive setup process, which makes it easy to get started.

  • User Registration: Implemented user registration, allowing users to sign up for our application using Google and GitHub.

  • User Login: Set up user login functionality, providing a secure way for users to access their accounts.

It's just the beginning of our application development journey, but completing the marketing page and authentication integration on Day 1 is a significant milestone. This sets a strong foundation for the rest of our project, and I'm excited about the progress we've made. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build and enhance our application!
